Problem Definition Statement (scrapped): Band-aids have been a staple in first aid kits for over a hundred years, and the world needs a novel alternate fit for modern society in the market.
Idea: Smart band-aid that uses electrotherapy to hasten patient recovery times (technology too advanced for me, scrapped)
New project idea:
Problem Definition Statement: Patients around the world need methods of calling doctors/nurses more efficiently and effectively (scrapped)
Idea: A hearing device that goes in one ear and has technology similar to Apple’s AirPod Transparency mode (upon further review, redundant)
Idea: Health dashboard (already implemented)
Idea: no touch thermometer with auto temperature logging (similar technology implemented)
This was the project I decided on, after talking with my mother who works in a hospital. Although there are existing automatic and manual pill crushers implemented into hospitals already, they can still be greatly improved.
